Heathcote Botanical Gardens is offering a great opportunity to get out and do something different in the way of play dates and activities this summer! Whether you are a child care center or other organization that provides care for children, or a mothers' group or group of parents looking for something unique to do with your kiddos, Heathcote's Summer Play Date in the Gardens promises to be a fun and educational event you and young ones will enjoy.
Here is how it works: Heathcote has created 15 eco-friendly activities that it will be offering throughout the summer. You call the Heathcote office and schedule a play date for your group at which time you will also choose one of these activities. When you arrive for your play date, your kids will participate in the one-hour activity that you chose and then take a guided tour of the gardens if you wish. Bring along a bagged lunch and you and your group can enjoy a picnic in the Garden!
The cost for this great outing is only $4 per child and the supervising adult is FREE! The admission for accompanying adults is only $6 unless they are a member of the Gardens.
