“You never forget your first Lip Sync Battle.” The words had come from Brad Gould as a joke, however the statement contained a glint of earnest intention. The event, scheduled for Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM at the Sunrise Theatre, is shaping up to be a memorable evening, one which will serve as an inaugural occurrence of Parent Academy’s signature fundraising effort.
An impressive crew of contestants spearheads the show. Set in downtown Fort Pierce’s historic Sunrise Theatre, this Battle is not to be missed. Performances will certainly be littered with goofy moments, but don’t for a second think the competition isn’t real. Contestants will be competing for glory in one of three categories: Judges’ Favorite, Audience Favorite, and Funds Raised, not to mention winners earn a year’s worth of bragging rights and eternal local acclaim.
