Freedomfest is destination for family fun this Fourth of July

The City of Port St. Lucie’s annual Independence Day Freedomfest celebration will be held on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at 2:00 PM outside the Civic Center and will provide a day of patriotic fun, music and food for people of all ages.
 
A family-friendly Fourth of July tradition in Port St. Lucie for many years, Freedomfest is one of the city’s biggest annual social events.
 
There will be bounce houses, arts and crafts vendors, live entertainment, eating contests, a dance party and much more.
 
Wristbands may be purchased for $5 for unlimited bounce house visits.
 
No Fourth of July event is complete without fireworks, and this year will be no exception. At 9:00 PM as long as the weather cooperates, spectators will be dazzled by the area’s largest fireworks display lighting up the night sky.
 
Event schedule:
  • 2:30 PM – Karate demonstration
  • 3:00 PM – Pizza eating contest
  • 3:30 PM – True Crew Dance performs
  • 4:00 PM – Oddessey performs
  • 6:30 PM – VIP Party begins inside Civic Center
  • 7:00 PM – Hot dog eating contest
  • 7:30 PM  Dance party with Entertainment Connections
  • 9:00 PM – Fireworks 
Admission and parking are free.
 

VIP Party

For the best seating and great food, the Freedomfest VIP Party will feature a buffet (including pulled pork sliders, chicken quarters, hot dogs and all the fixings, plus dessert) starting at 6:30 PM in the Civic Center’s air-conditioned Emerald Ballroom. After dinner, step outside on the back patio to watch the best fireworks show on the Treasure Coast. We can reserve tables of 10 or more, so bring the neighbors. Doors open for the VIP Party at 6:30 PM.
 
Tickets are on sale for the VIP Party at the Civic Center at a cost of $25 for adults and $10 for children ages 5 to 12; children ages 4 and under are free.
